Norwegian property company acquires Radisson Blu Hotel Frankfurt

The Radisson Blu Hotel Frankfurt, with its stunning architecture that shaped Frankfurt’s Western skyline and its extraordinary design by three of the world’s most celebrated hotel architects and designers, represents one of Germany’s most prestigious hotel assets. The owners approached Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels with the disposal of the asset subject to a long-term lease agreement with The Rezidor Hotel Group.

Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels advised the owners on the lease contract and a potential restructuring of the latter, as well as the sale negotiations and successfully generated interest from a number of internationally renowned institutional investors.

The transaction was successfully completed at terms that reflected a clear premium to the overall market level. The Norwegian property company Wenaasgruppen A/S purchased the 4-star hotel which will continue to be operated by The Rezidor Hotel Group under the Radisson Blu brand.
