Andy Mottram steps up into new EMEA regional role
London, 15th June 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that Andrew Gould, currently head of its Professional & Advisory Group, is to become chief executive of its English Business from 1st July 2009.
Andy Mottram, who has been head of the English Business for four years, is stepping up into a full-time EMEA Management Board role overseeing the firm’s Management Services, Advisory and Project & Development Services operations across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He will also be responsible at board level for the country businesses in Belgium, Central & Eastern Europe, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Nordics, Russia & CIS and Scotland.

Andrew Gould has led Jones Lang LaSalle’s Professional & Advisory Group since 2004. Over the past five years, revenues in that group grew by 125%, reaching £45m (€52m) for 2008.
He said: "Our English business has made huge progress under Andy Mottram’s clear-sighted leadership. We are in a strong position with a broader and deeper range of services and the ability to anticipate and quickly adapt to the rapidly changing shape of property markets. Succeeding Andrew Gould in his current role, Andrew Renshaw will become the new lead director for Professional & Advisory when these changes all take effect at the beginning of next month, in addition to his existing role as head of the firm’s Valuation business.

Prior to this he was chief financial officer in Europe for four years and was a member of the European management team. Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Andy held senior finance positions at Whitbread and Pepsi Cola.

Andrew Gould – biographical information Andrew Gould was recruited to Jones Lang LaSalle from an economic and management consultancy in 1989 in order to help grow the firm’s consulting and advisory capability. He was made partner in 1991 and international director in 2000. He holds a doctorate from the University of Cambridge and a Corporate Finance Diploma from London Business School. Andrew has had responsibility for the firm’s Global and European Strategic Consulting practices and joined the Management Committee for the English Business in 2004. He is a prominent adviser in the UK market to major government, corporate and investor clients. He specialises in advising on urban-economic development issues and advising major corporations and governmental organisations on their asset strategies.
