Bio

​​Thorsten Faasch joined the Hotels & Hospitality team at Jones Lang LaSalle as Senior Vice President in 2010. Holding a Master’s degree in international studies and hospitality management, he focusses on investment sales in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He occasionally also carries out advisory mandates, hotel valuations and feasibility studies and is also involved in operator selection and contract negotiation mandates.

 

In his role, Thorsten Faasch successfully transacted a number of hotels, for instance, the Renaissance Hotel in Munich, the Marriott Hotel Frankfurt and the Radisson Blu Hotel Frankfurt, which at that time was the largest German single asset transaction since 2008.


He is currently marketing the sale of various assets in Germany and other European Countries, including the Rocco Forte Hotels de Rome Berlin and Villa Kennedy Frankfurt, the Crowne Plaza in Wiesbaden and the Hilton Danube and Leonardo Vienna Hotel.

Before joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Thorsten Faasch worked for NPC Hotelentwicklung & -management GmbH, Düsseldorf where he was responsible for the hotel development and consulting department.

Following that, Thorsten Faasch was assumed the position of managing director at hcb hospitality concepts berlin GmbH, where he was responsible for hotel developments, hotel consulting and asset management assignments.

Thorsten Faasch gained operational expertise at the Steigenberger Parkhotel in Düsseldorf as well as in the Marriott and Renaissance Hotels in Munich. He worked abroad in France, Switzerland and Venezuela.
